First Step In The Process:
- Identify the reasons you want to buy a home: (Primary residence, Vacation home or Investment Property).
- What is the length of time you plan to own the home?
- What features of your new home are a “must have” to fit your lifestyle: (No. of bedrooms & baths, Pool, Outdoor kitchen, Lawn maintenance)?
- What features of a community will best match your lifestyle: (Golf course, Tennis, Boating, near Work or School)?
- We will meet to discuss all of your choices.
- We will devise a plan to begin your home buying journey together.
Second Step:
- Contact a Mortgage Broker & begin the loan process.
- I can recommend an experienced loan officer if you prefer.
- Loan Pre-approval is a “must have” before submitting an offer.
- And identifying a price range will save you time & frustration.
- Be ready to provide a minimum of: Dates of employment, Most recent -2, Most recent pay stubs, Asset information (vehicle, property, stocks, bank accounts) or if self employed – 2 years of Tax returns.
Third Step:
- I will research homes for you based on the criteria you have decided on.
- I will Email those homes to you for you to review.
- You can expect property information, available photos and available virtual tours.
- I will set up property tours for us to view the homes you are interested in seeing.
- When we find the right home for you, I will help you write up an offer.
Fourth Step:
- Buying real estate should be viewed as an investment.
- My job is to help you make a well information decision about that investment.
- In order to write an offer, we will need to discuss many things: (Most recent sales, The price you are willing to pay, The way you intend to finance the property, The seller’s disclosure, The association’s disclosure, The sales contract and much more.
- It is an involved process. But the process has a great result…your new home.
